BEACH HOUSE LISTENING PARTY AND RARITIES ON MAY 15TH!
I’ll start spinning and selling the new LP around 6:00 PM and there will be 3 hat drawings at 6:45-ish for the prizes. You have to be here to put your name in the drawing and win the prizes. The first 10 people to buy the LP or CD get posters featuring exclusive art by Victoria of Beach House though!
1st Place wins glow-in-the-dark vinyl version of the Beach House - Bloom 2LP
2nd Place wins a Sub Pop shirt, and Beach House Record Store Day single in a custom Sub Pop sleeve.
3rd Place wins Sub Pop shirt and CD sampler
I should mention supplies of the record are limited for tomorrow. I’ll have 5 copies of the white vinyl “Loser Edition” LP for sale and 5 copies of the CD for sale, with more copies of the standard LP coming in later this week.
Come hang out and listen to what is possibly the best record the year will have to offer! I’m working on having some drinks and snacks but feel free to bring your own or some to share!
I know you can’t see it, but we are open! There is plenty of parking alongside and around back too!
Awesome used stuff going out today. The Clash, Elvis Costello, David Bowie, The Band, plus the 2010 RSD edition of Monsters Of Folk on clear blue wax and the limited edition Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2 by The Beastie Boys on white vinyl complete with a bonus 7”!
New Jack White album ‘Blunderbuss’ hits the shelves today along with Death Grips ‘Money Store’ on CD (LP due 5/29).
Also I forgot to shout out about Willis Earl Beal’s album ‘Acousmatic Sorcery’ but I got some copies in last week and I recommend checking this record out if you like Tom Waits, Daniel Johnson and delta blues stuff.
